1. The system introduction

GPRS Data remote-transmission prepayment and control system is suitable for the power company to implement intelligent metering, billing, prepayment, remote control, remote monitoring, automatic meter reading and more comprehensive power management system to exclusive-transformer user and public-transformer user.

The system consists of the main station, GPRS communication network and the on-site devices. The main station integrated database, prepayment, remote meter-reading, alarm messages, data interface and other major functional modules. The on-site devices include various metering, prepayment and control, monitoring, remote reading and alarm devices.

System uses GPRS technology for remote automatic meter reading, real-time data collecting, real-time monitoring of device status, freeze reading data and automatically uploads data, commands and data can be transmitted to on-site devices. Monitor all types of users and their power usage; reduce line losses for the power company and provide the most direct data.

The core technology of the system solves various problems, especially in the real-time auto-settlement of account to the basic electric rate (base on active power), electric rate, power factor electric rate (base on reactive power), line losses electric rate, transformation loss electric rate. To the users with frequent-change between transformation Ratios, automatic conversion and accumulation can be achieved within a prepayment device. Charge is achieved with infrared remote-control CPU card. The sales data with dynamic encryption is secure. The normal communication distance is within 5 meters, the user does not need touch device during the recharge. Persona security, equipment and data are ensured. Remote-sale of electricity via GPRS communication can be applied. Users in the operating room pre-paid electricity, the system will automatically send the electricity to the device after user’s charge without manual intervention.

14) Local control and remote power control

Local power-control function of on-site device is achieved by authorized person with manual switch. The remote power-control is achieved with main station transmitting power-off instructions to on-site equipment to cut off main circuit. From the perspective of supply security, the system does not use the remote transmission power-control.

Sound and light alarm occurs with illegal opening of the device. Then On-site anti-power-stealing devices send the information to main station.

16) GPRS remote electricity sales function (custom function)

Note: If the power company has designated or purchase the meters, as long as the meter meets standard 645 communication protocols and with 485 interfaces, it can be also access the system.

17) Data collection and analysis

The system automatically calculates the line-loss rates of the date and the month. Individual line-loss rates and whole transformer-area line-loss rates can be calculated.

The system provides 10KV-transformer users with relevant reports and curves of time and date to monitoring current, voltage, power and values.

The system can generate relevant reports with specific formats required by Power Company.
